It provides a decentralised information exchange, based on national consortia in participating countries, made up of VET stakeholders. The International Unit of the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) is the coordinator of UK ReferNet. This UK network is jointly funded by CEDEFOP and the Joint International Unit (DIUS/DCSF).
Network activities are focused on documentation and information exchange on developments in VET policy and research across the European Union.UK ReferNet continues to write and update thematic overviews on aspects of VET from funding to Initial VET.
We act as a VET Portal between the UK and other countries answering requests for information from early school leaving to regulation frameworks.
